A Tribute to the Brave Women of Iran and Ashraf 3
Dear Madam Maryam Rajavi, leader of the opposition to the regime in Iran, distinguished guests, and dear women of Iran who are present here,
I want to express my gratitude and salutations to the women of Ashraf 3.
I really hope to visit you one day, but most of all, I want to visit a free Iran soon. When I was listening to the powerful words of Madam Rajavi, I was thinking about my work in the Amazon region.
Women: The True Force of Nature for Change
I had the privilege of working in that special part of the world, leading the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization.
And I was thinking that people always talk about Mother Nature. We never hear anyone talk about Father Nature. And, of course, I strongly believe that Maryam Rajavi and the women of Iran are a force of nature.
I also believe that women with purpose and vision, led by Maryam Rajavi, can make a difference and make it possible to reestablish a democratic government in Iran and restore human rights, which are also the rights of women.
A Global Call: Standing with Iranian Women for Freedom
Because, of course, when we are talking about human rights, we are talking about women. We cannot endure more executions and the exclusion of women in Iran and other parts of the world.
We are in the twenty-first century, and, of course, we feel that humanity has reached many goals in the scientific field, but in social issues, we are not reaching our goals. We are not reaching our dreams.
Dreaming of a Just World—Example of Iranian Women
We must continue to dream about liberty, about freedom, and about equal rights for human beings in different parts of the world. And, of course, the women of Iran are giving us a great example of what we can achieve and what we can do.

Maryam Rajavi’s Vision: A Roadmap for Justice and Equality
On this International Women’s Day that we are celebrating here, I want to tell you, women of Iran, that we are with you. We support the 10 points that Maryam Rajavi has established for the people of Iran.
We also support the 12 points she has outlined to restore human rights in Iran. We say no to executions, no to exclusion.
A Message from Latin America: We Stand with You
I am a woman from Latin America. I come from a country called Ecuador, named because we are on the equatorial line, in the middle of the world. We are looking to you, following what you are doing, because I feel that you are an example for humanity.
Dear Maryam Rajavi,
We are with you. We feel your thoughts. You feel our feelings, and we hope that we are going to achieve the freedom that all of us desire.
Thank you very much.
