Fatemeh Alizadeh, 28, was a resident of Hashtpar (Talesh) in Gilan Province, northern Iran.
During the nationwide uprising in January 2026, she was directly shot by the clerical regime’s suppressive forces.
On January 8, 2026, Fatemeh Alizadeh, who was pregnant, was walking on Khorramshahr Street in Hashtpar on her way to a doctor’s appointment when she was targeted and severely wounded by the regime’s guards.
Following the shooting, Fatemeh was transferred to a hospital in Rasht. After several days in critical condition, she succumbed to her severe injuries along with her unborn child.
Among the martyrs of the January uprising are many mothers who took to the streets to secure freedom for Iran and a better future for their children, only to be answered with bullets.
