I was a nurse. I was in love with my people and with the People’s Mojahedin.
I was arrested, imprisoned and tortured for adhering to my professional pledge and saving the lives of those who had been beaten up or shot by the Revolutionary guards, including young girls and women who had been shot at directly during a demonstration.
I was tortured viciously in Evin and Qezel Hessar prisons. Tolerating the tortures went beyond human tolerance but I endured and never reneged on my pledge, and my love for the PMOI/MEK. I did not sell Iran’s bright future to Khomeini’s evil.
I had served seven of my 15-year sentence, when I was executed among the 30,000 massacred political prisoners in summer 1988.
I await justice for my murderers.
