A Compassionate Nurse and the Pillar of Her Family
Elham Zeinali, a 42-year-old nurse, lost her life after being shot by members of the Revolutionary Guard Corps during the nationwide uprising in January 2026. She was fatally wounded on the evening of January 8 near her residence in the Taq-e Bostan Boulevard area of Kermanshah.
Elham Zeinali, who served as a hospital supervisor at Imam Ali Hospital in Kermanshah, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her abdomen and lower back. Despite extensive efforts by medical staff to save her life, she died in hospital 48 hours after undergoing surgery.

After several days, Elham Zeinali was laid to rest on January 13, 2027, at Bagh-e Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.
An Angel in Every Sense of the Word
