According to reports by the state-run Mehr news agency, the Committee on Media Oversight has suspended the “Today’s Women” Magazine, based on Article 2.6 of the Press law, stating some of the material published by this media outlet are in contrast with public virtue, and the case has been sent to court.
“Today’s Women” was a monthly magazine and Shahla Sherkat served as the editor-in-chief of the publication. The publication of this magazine had restarted in June 2014 after being suspended for nearly 7 years.
