Supporters of the Iranian Resistance rallied in Paris, voicing support for the NCRI’s provisional government to transfer sovereignty to the people and establish a democratic republic based on Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan
On March 7, 2026, Paris’s Trocadéro Square witnessed a spirited demonstration by freedom-loving Iranians who gathered in support of the announcement of a provisional government by the National Council of Resistance of Iran to transfer sovereignty to the people and establish a democratic republic based on Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan.
A number of speakers addressed the rally, including Mr. Jean-Pierre Brard, former member of the French National Assembly, and Jacques Boutault, deputy mayor of Paris Centre and former mayor of the 2nd arrondissement. They supported the NCRI provisional government and Mrs. Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan.

Sarvnaz Chitsaz: The Main Force to Bring Down the Regime Is the People of Iran and Their Organized Resistance
At the demonstration of supporters of the Iranian Resistance and freedom-loving Iranians in Paris, Ms. Sarvnaz Chitsaz, Chair of the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, delivered a speech and said, “Our country today stands at one of its most sensitive and decisive moments. The main force both for bringing down the remnants of the clerical regime and for what comes afterward is the Iranian people and their organized Resistance. All forces fighting for freedom have clarified their path through a firm demarcation from any form of despotism and fascism—neither religious despotism nor monarchical dictatorship.”
She congratulated all and particularly Iran’s rebellious women and resistant female political prisoners on International Women’s Day and added, “Both the pioneering role of women in the struggle against misogynistic religious despotism and their passage through torture chambers and prisons; their combat in the National Liberation Army of Iran, which was the nightmare of the criminal Revolutionary Guards; and the leadership of women in this resistance and in spearheading the struggle for overthrow—especially in building a free and democratic Iran with gender equality, not merely in words and slogans but in practice—are the very distinguishing feature that sets the Iranian Resistance apart from other fake and fraudulent alternatives.”

Zinat Mirhashemi: History Has Shown that Whenever the Women of a Society Take to the Stage, the Movement for Freedom Accelerates
Ms. Zinat Mirhashemi, a member of the NCRI and the Central Committee of the People’s Fedayeen of Iran (OIPFG), also addressed the rally.
In part of her remarks, Zinat Mirhashemi said: “The slogans ‘Death to Khamenei’ and ‘Khamenei, the Tyrant, we will bring you down under the soil’ have been realized… The more important and fundamental reality is that Khamenei’s regime and the Revolutionary Guards are the main perpetrators of this devastating war. Experience has shown that in all wars, women and children are among the first victims. One can imagine the difficulties that Iranian women face both in prisons and under wartime conditions. Nevertheless, history has shown that whenever the women of a society take to the stage, the movement for freedom accelerates.”

Maria Mehdipour, representative of the Khabat Organization of Iranian Kurdistan
Maria Mehdipur, representative of the Khabat Organization of Iranian Kurdistan, was another speaker at the event. Ms. Mehdipur stated in part: “Today we have gathered to reaffirm our pledge and commitment to continue the struggle and resistance, and to once again emphasize the continuation of the fight for freedom and support for the uprisings of the (ethnic) nationalities of Iran, particularly the revolutionary and heroic people of Kurdistan.
“From the very beginning of the rise to power of the clerical dictatorship and its murderous regime, the Kurdish people said “no” to it, and today they continue the struggle with the same conviction for the establishment of a democratic government that stands in complete opposition to clerical and monarchical rule.”

Sara Nouri: Freedom Is Not Exported from Outside; It Arises from the Desire, Courage, and Will of the People
Sara Nouri said in part: “We are facing a new period, a period of transition and a time in which new possibilities are emerging. This is a historic moment. Freedom is not exported from outside; it arises from the desire, courage, and will of the people. The people of Iran are not merely spectators; they are the actors on this stage. Iran deserves freedom, democracy, and respect for human rights.”
