Student activist Niloufar Mirzaii was abducted from the front of the university
Branch 29 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran convened on January 30, 2023, examining the charges against student activist Niloufar Mirzaii.
Student activist Niloufar Mirzaii has been detained for three months. Her trial was held in the absence of a lawyer. The presiding judge rejected granting her a temporary leave on bail.
Student activist Niloufar Mirzaii was a 2nd-year graphic arts student at Tehran’s Al-Zahra University.
Plainclothes agents abducted her from the front of the university on November 1, 2022. She is detained in Evin Prison after spending time in the notorious Qarchak Prison. No information is available on her charges.
Her friends and former political prisoners wrote in their social media posts that her mother travels to Tehran every week from Kahnuj, in the southern Kerman province, to follow up on her case but returns disappointed.
Student activist Niloufar Mirzaii has a heart condition and has been sent to the Evin clinic twice after being interrogated.
Fatemeh Rahmati was beaten and arrested on her way to the university
Fatemeh Rahmati, 19, was kidnapped by armed individuals on January 14, 2023. She had been on her way to university in the Sadeh area of Ebadan City. Fatemeh’s violent abduction included being dragged on the ground. According to eyewitnesses, Fatemeh Rahmati was screaming throughout the arrest. She was transferred to Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz. Fatemeh Rahmati is from Abadan and studied accounting at the Azad University of Ebadan.
Sara Javidan forcibly disappeared
Sara Javidan, an 18-year-old from Karaj, was arrested on the street on December 24, 2022. Thus far, there is no information about her whereabouts, and her family is very worried.
Taraneh Zolabi refuses to give in
Taraneh Zolabi, a third-semester medical student at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, was kidnapped in the final days of November and is still in captivity.

Sahar Berlouii abducted in Tehran’s Ekbatan
Sahar Berlouii was arrested by security forces at her home on November 23, 2022, in connection with the nationwide protests.
Security forces searched her house and seized her mobile phone and a laptop. Sahar Berlouii, 34, a resident of Ekbatan, Tehran, is still in custody, and it is unclear when she will be released.
Thus far, there is no information about her whereabouts or charges against her.
