Imprisoned civil rights activist, Atena Da’emi, was finally hospitalized on Monday, September 14, 2015.
Atena is suspected of suffering from muscular sclerosis (MS).
Her transfer to hospital reportedly took place under sever security measures. She was supposed to be hospitalized last week, but it was postponed for bureaucratic reasons.
Atena Da’emi, 27, was arrested on October 17, 2014, and held in solitary confinement for 57 days. For her peaceful civil activities, she is charged with propaganda against the ruling regime, complicity against national security, insulting the leader and the founder of the Islamic Republic and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment.
