Zalikha Mousavi, the mother of political prisoner Hossein Ronaghi Malaki, stated her son’s dire conditions in Evin Prison and said, “When I saw him, his face was swollen and his lips were ripped apart. He was in very bad conditions.
When I went to see him they said Hossein is not here and has gone to court. I sat there until 2 pm and they finally brought him. I saw he was unconscious and that was why they wouldn’t let me see him. They hadn’t taken him to court. Believe me, I am tired, but I will not give up. I will raise my voice until those who are pretending to not hear, will finally hear me,” she said.
