Ms. Sarvnaz Chitsaz, Chair of the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), strongly condemns the arbitrary arrest of Iranian actress Mrs. Taraneh Alidoosti and other artists and professionals of the 7th art by the religious fascism ruling Iran.
Ms. Chitsaz called for the immediate release of all prisoners of the uprising, especially women and artists. Ms. Chitsaz called on human rights and women’s rights organizations to take urgent action.
Iran’s misogynistic and anti-Iranian regime does not hesitate to commit any atrocity, crime, and treachery against the Iranian people to delay its inevitable overthrow.
