In nightly raids launched on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, on residential units in Tehran and Karaj, security forces arrested a number of student activists, most of them from Tehran’s Khajeh Nassir Tousi University, school of engineering.
In some cases, they broke the door to enter the house and took away personal belongings and computers after thorough search of the house.
The names of a few of those arrested and imprisoned in Evin Prison, have been obtained, among them two female student activists, Kiana Karimpour and Mehraban Keshavarzi.
