“To solve the problem of (improper) veiling and chastity in society, we need a general mobilization.”
This remark was made this morning in Bonab (western Azerbaijan) by mullah Mohammad Baqer Bonabi, member of the Economic Committee of the mullahs’ parliament.
Bonabi said the issue of veiling and chastity is one of the most fundamental challenges in Iranian society. Underlining the gravity of this issue he added, “Nowhere in the world is like this country with regards to veiling and chastity.”
Mullah Bonabi said, “One of the most serious challenges to our regime is the issue of chastity and veiling which threatens even investment in this country… Nowhere in the world do we witness such an inappropriate situation in society.”
