Iran’s youth: On October 25, 2025, the Free Iran 2025: Youth Gathering was held with the participation of young supporters of the Iranian Resistance from across Europe, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Organized on the eve of the anniversary of Iran’s November 2019 uprising and attended by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the event was broadcast live and connected with simultaneous gatherings in Bonn, London, and Zurich.
Throughout the conference, representatives from more than 30 youth associations, from the fields of medicine, law, engineering, sports, and academia, shared their perspectives and experiences. Speakers honored the sacrifices of young Iranians in the 2019 and 2022 uprisings and emphasized that the new generation of Iran is no longer a spectator of politics, but a conscious, responsible, and organized force for change.
During the program, Sepideh Orafa delivered a speech on behalf of the associations and communities of Iranian youth in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
Dear president-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, dear friends and fellow advocates for a free Iran,
It is my honor to stand before you today to present this delegation representing the voice and determination of young Iranians across the globe.
In just a few moments, Soroush from Belgium and Arash from Austria will present the resolution of today’s congress. Following that, our friends who have traveled great distances to be here, Saba from Canada, Rayan from The United States, and Kianoush from Australia, will each share what drives them to be here today.
But before I pass the floor to them, allow me to shortly share with you my own commitment to this cause.

My inspiration to stand here today comes from the young members of the PMOI. Members such as Zolal have had such a terrific job has done presenting today’s congress.
Members such as Bita, Faezeh , Elham, Safura, Azar, and many, many more.
And many, many more in Albania and here. The list goes on and on.
You are all our inspiration to be here. Many of them grew up in a free world just like me, just like most of us standing here on this stage. They had access to the finest education, the most promising career paths.
They could have become anything they wanted, yet they chose to sacrifice all of that to dedicate their lives to something greater.
Because as long as young people in Iran cannot pursue their dreams, as long as they remain silenced and shackled, these brave individuals refuse to accept their own freedom as enough. They taught me that privilege isn’t a gift to be hoarded.
It’s a responsibility to speak to those who can’t.
So today, we stand here for Iran’s liberation and for the fundamental truth that no Iranian is free until all Iranians are free. This same conviction unites every young person in this room today. Our presence here is not just solidarity. It’s a promise to the youth inside Iran that their courage will not be in vain.
