Meanwhile, across Iran, freedom-loving teachers have been holding protest rallies in various cities to voice their dissatisfaction with the authorities lack of response to their demands. On Thursday, April 6, 2023, gatherings occurred in Hamedan, Malayer, Kermanshah, Urmia, Neyshabur, Tehran, and Karaj, although the security forces prevented the demonstration from taking place in the latter.
In Kermanshah, teachers protested against the arrest of Mohammad Habibi, the Teachers’ Trade Association spokesperson, who had been detained by security forces on Wednesday, April 5, by chanting slogans in support of his release.
