Teachers of Yazd, women and men, continued the fourth day of their protest on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, by gathering outside the building of Justice Department in Yazd, capital of Yazd Province, central Iran.
The teachers are demanding to receive ten months of their past-due salaries.
In Tehran, the students of Tehran’s University of Art staged a protest and signed a petition on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, against high expenses and low quality of education as well as other deficiencies in their school including problems in presentation of their theses, old and inefficient equipment in the workshops, and incompetent faculty.
