Intelligence agents have called and threatened Mrs. Osanlou, the elderly mother of political prisoner Afshin Osanlou who was murdered while in prison.
The Intelligence Ministry agents told Mrs. Osanlou that they monitor her phone calls with the US and UK and such contacts could have grave consequences for her.
Mrs. Osanlou, 80, has spent her life defending workers’ rights along with her husband and sons. Her son, Afshin Osanlou, was a member of the board of directors of the Transportation Syndicate. He suffered a heart stroke under suspicious circumstances and died in prison in July 2013. He was under tremendous physical and psychological caused by torture.
