The regime’s efforts to enforce gender segregation have reached a point that even the state-run websites are objecting the idea. Note the following article:
Gender segregation started from buses. When advanced technology arrived in Tehran, gender segregation also got to special wagons for women in trains. A short while later, it was the turn for parks and city green spaces. Gardens exclusively for women. The move then spread to gender segregation of university educational fields. Now is the time for the City Council to call for construction of special business centers for women in an open session.
Such talks build invisible walls in the minds of little boys and girls to feel they are different.
Creation of exclusive areas for men or women is tantamount to separation and segregation of genders. And gender segregation means completely forgetting half of the society.
