The 15th branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Court sentenced civil rights activist Arash Sadeghi and his wife, Golrokh Ebrahimi, to 15 and six years imprisonment, respectively.
Their charges are formation of anti-government gatherings and alleged propaganda against the regime which are punishable by five and one year sentences respectively according to the penal code. Golrokh Ebrahimi was arrested along with her husband on September 7, 2014 in their office, and freed on bail until final court decree.
