Farah Baghi is a Baha’i citizen detained in Yazd Prison (central Iran) ever since February 10. She has recently written a letter and described in brief the cruelty imposed on her and her family by the Iranian regime:
“I am a Baha’i citizen in Yazd Prison on charges of propaganda against the state and measures against national security. Baha’is in Iran are under grave injustice and deprived of their citizen rights, including the execution of around 250 Baha’is.
“An example of this injustice has been imposed on my family, including: confiscating property belonging to my father and father-in-law; expelling me and my husband from the university; expelling my children and nieces and nephews from college while they had all been accepted into fields of medicine and law (7 students). Right now my brother (Fariborz Baghi) and I are in prison. We are demanding our rights be preserved.”
