The Iranian regime’s Ministry of Interior has published instructions on hijab regulations for government employees and the private sector.
Those working in the country’s administrative bodies and private firms must respect the following dress codes:
1. Female employees should wear chadors or long-sleeved coats to their knees without any designs and long pants. The head should be covered; all be of conventional colors; without any unconventional ornaments or jewelry. Women should not use any make-up.
2. Male employees should not wear T-shirts, tight or short sleeve shirts, tight pants or jeans or clothing with Western labels. Men cannot wear jewelries, wide belts with unconventional buckles, and should not have unusual hairstyles.
All employees of administrative bodies in cities and private firms have been informed about these regulations, and the necessary supervision must be imposed to implement these guidelines.
