Dear Madam Rajavi, Ladies and gentlemen,
For more than two hours we have heard a lot of interesting speeches and contributions. This is encouraging; this is motivating and you Mrs. Rajavi, you give us this courage and this power to be here together to support and defend you and your values.
It is 34 years that we have had a UN convention about abolition of all kinds of discrimination against women. And yet in many parts of this world, especially in Iran, those rights are not implemented…
They try to use Islam to justify this situation. This is why it’s so important that the Resistance Council supports you Mrs. Rajavi. This is the opposite role model against that dictatorship.
Your demands, your ten-point plan and the speech you delivered here in an inspiring way, are why we strive to stand up against this brutal system.
I think this congress has sent a very important signal to us, to the world, to the Europeans, also to the Americans, that we have to receive those imprisoned at Camp Liberty… We all have to take them in and offer them a safe homeland. Thank you very much.
