Introduction
In the month of February, fearing popular uprisings and the spread of revelations by the Iranian Resistance at
the international level, the misogynist mullahs’ regime has resorted to remaining low-key in its war against
Iranian women. This month, we witnessed less reports of flagrant measures such as executions, acid attacks
and barbarity against women published in the regime’s media. However, the crackdown of women reached a
point where in many cases, strong quarrels within the regime’s own state entities, stepped-up.
Inhumane Treatment and Cruel Punishments
Amputation, Flogging, Torture and Humiliation
The mullahs ruling Iran remain unable to even stage kangaroo trials for criminals behind last October’s acid
attacks. Regime officials, who actually paved the path for such crimes against women by adopting a bill in the
parliament named “promoting virtue and prohibiting vice”, are now resorting to contradictory remarks.
Hossein Zolfaqari, State Security Forces (SSF) Chief in Isfahan province said on 2 February, “The person behind
the attacks has not been arrested and the information on him is still not conclusive.”
