Women Actively Participated in the Grand Iranian Rally in Paris

February 8, 2025
in Articles

On Saturday, February 8, 2025, thousands of Iranian women and girls, alongside dozens of prominent female political figures from France, actively participated in and delivered speeches at the grand Iranian rally in Paris.

A Regime at the End of the Line

Mahnaz Salimian, Senior Secretary of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), addressed the grand Iranian rally, declaring:
“The clerical regime has reached the end of the line. Today, we have gathered here to tell the regime, alongside the valiant Mojahedin and the Resistance Units: We will overthrow you! We reaffirm the stance of Mr. Massoud Rajavi and our beloved President Maryam Rajavi that no power in the world can prevent the downfall of this anti-historical and anti-Iranian regime.”

The Clerical Regime Stole Our Revolution, but Not Our Aspiration for Freedom

Rebecca Malihi, representing Iranian youth communities, emphasized:
“Forty-six years ago, the deceitful Khomeini hijacked our revolution. Dreaming of a 500-year-long theocratic rule, he spared no crime to maintain his grip on power. But no one can strip the Iranian people of their aspiration for freedom. This is how a formidable resistance took shape against the clerics—weathering storms of oppression and conspiracies to become an unparalleled force for Iran’s liberation.

Our dear Maryam Rajavi, with her new perspective on humanity, fostered a generation of qualified women in the Resistance, turning the clerics’ dream of enslaving Iranian women into their worst nightmare. We have sworn to raise the flag of a democratic republic atop Mount Damavand—and we will. Women, Resistance, Freedom!”

The Clerics Are the True Successors of the Shah’s Oppression

Milishia Javidan, from the Iranian Professionals’ Associations, stated:
“Khomeini was the true heir to the Shah’s tyranny. He sought to secure his rule through the massacre of the Mojahedin. But what a magnificent resistance—one that, through boundless sacrifice, the Resistance Units, and the Army of Liberation, has brought the entire criminal regime to the brink of collapse! With our beloved President Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan, the future of a free and prosperous Iran is guaranteed.

Like all members of the Resistance, we pledge today to dedicate all our strength to the fight for Iran’s freedom. And tomorrow, we will devote ourselves entirely to rebuilding Iran and realizing Mrs. Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan.”

The Iranian Youth Will Eradicate Both the Shah and the Clerics

Mona Forouzandeh, a member of Iranian youth associations, addressed the grand Iranian rally, saying:
“I am 19 years old—part of a generation that never bowed to either the Shah or the clerics. We follow in the footsteps of martyrs like Fatemeh Mesbah, a 13-year-old girl who stood firm against the dictatorship of the mullahs.

We tell the clerics: Iran is no place for executioners! The young generation of Iran will uproot both the Shah and the mullahs for good. This is our commitment to the people of Iran!”

ABOUT US

NCRI Women Committee

We work extensively with Iranian women outside the country and maintain a permanent contact with women inside Iran. The Women’s Committee is actively involved with many women’s rights organizations and NGO’s and the Iranian diaspora.
The committee is a major source of much of the information received from inside Iran with regards to women. Attending UN Human Rights Council meetings and other international or regional conferences on women’s issues and engaging in a relentless battle against the Iranian regime’s misogyny are part of the activities of members and associates of the committee.
