To this day, 15 relatives of political prisoners have been arrested in recent days and jailed in Gharchak and Evin prisons. Two of these individuals have launched hunger strikes protesting their arrests.
The names of those arrested and held in Gharchak Varamin Prison are:
Mrs. Simin Avazzadeh, mother of political prisoner Omid Alishenas who has been on hunger strike since Saturday – Ms. Leila Mirghafari – Ms. Shermin Yamani.
The names of those arrested in recent days and held in ward 8 of Evin Prison are:
Misters Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Shoja, Zartosht Ahmadi, Davoud Ne’mati, Ehsan Khabir, Massoud Hamid, Ali Babaie, Ismaeel Hosseini, Abdulazim Aruji, Ershia Rahmati, Hamed Gudarzi and Ibrahimzadeh.
