Political prisoner and human rights activist Nargess Mohammadi was returned to prison on Wednesday October 28 despite serious
conditions.
She had been transferred to hospital following seizures she suffered in prison. Doctors have instructed prison officials to hospitalize Ms. Mohammadi because prison conditions deteriorate her illnesses, lung embolism and muscular paralysis.
During her time in hospital, Ms. Mohammadi was being watched all the time and her hands and feet were chained to her bed. She has been returned to prison while she is still in very serious condition and her treatment has not been completed. She fainted the same day, when a group of friends and supporters had gone to visit her at hospital.
