It is noteworthy that Reyhaneh Jabbari, a 26-year old decorator who was in the same ward with Sahar for almost a year prior to her execution, had made extensive effort with the help of her mother – Mrs. Sho’le Pakravan – to save Sahar’s life and have her spared from execution.
