The NCRI Women’s Committee delivered speeches in various meetings and exposed the wave of organized acid attacks by agents affiliated to the Iranian regime against Iranian women. She also presented a report of over 1,000 executions under Rouhani’s tenure, 34 of which were women including Reyhaneh Jabbari. The delegation shed light on the repression of women by the religious fundamentalist ruling Iran. They urged the session to condemn the regime’s crimes and support Iranian women. In addition, representatives of various NGOs from 56 Member States of the UN Economic and Social Commission participated in the three-day forum.
