Nasrin Javadi, a labor activist imprisoned in Evin prison, has been deprived of proper medical care despite her physical condition.
Nasrin Javadi (Azam Khezri Javadi), 65, suffers from several diseases, including osteoporosis. Despite Mrs. Javadi’s repeated requests to be sent on medical leave, the relevant authorities use various excuses to prevent her from being sent to the hospital. Her lawyer also submitted a doctor’s certificate to the court stating that she could not bear her imprisonment. Nasrin Javadi finally went to Evin prison on July 2, 2022, to serve her sentence.
