Iran: NCRI discloses documents on six women wounded in November protests

The Security and Counterterrorism Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has obtained documents on the transfer of those wounded during Iran protests in November 2019 to hospitals, including documents on six women wounded during the protests.

The documents are but a very small part of the realities of the Iranian people’s major uprising in November 2019.

The documents verify the injuries and transfer of 60 people to hospitals in Tehran by the National Emergency Organization between 15 and 18 of November 2019.

They include information on six women wounded during Iran protests, two by security forces’ pellet guns, on November 16 and 17.

The first set of documents made public by the NCRI Security and Counterterrorism Committee on June 11, 2020, were the ones dealing with the six women wounded during Iran protests in November:

 

Document No. 1 – National Emergency Organization, Tehran Province, Tehran Emergency

Date of Mission: November 16, 2019; Ambulance Code: 3235

Name and Surname: Soghra Shirazian, 60

Emergency location address: Riots in District 19, Khaniabad, Latifi Street, Abu Reihan Ave., across from Ansar Bank

Delivered to Tehran’s Zia’ian Hospital, at 08.04 (am)

Date of Mission: November 17, 2019; Ambulance Code: 9073

Name and Surname: Maryam Hatmi Tehrani, 18

Emergency location address: riots in Islamshahr, Gha’emieh township, 45th alley, No. 98, Unit 2

Sent to Imam Reza Medical Center in Islamshahr (Saeedieh)

Symptoms: Weakness and exhaustion, bleeding

Notes and Considerations of the Mission: An 18-year-old woman had been

Shot by a pellet gun in the head and left thigh. Vital signs were checked, and the necessary measures were taken. She was transferred to hospital for care and oxygen therapy.

Date of Mission: November 17, 2019; Ambulance Code: 9073

Name and Surname: Shahla Khedmati, 39

Emergency location address: Riots in Islamshahr, Gha’emieh township, 45th alley, No. 98, Unit 2

Sent to Imam Reza Medical Center in Islamshahr (Saeedieh)

Symptoms: Bleeding

Notes and considerations of the mission: The 38-year-old (sic.) woman was shot in the left arm by a pellet gun, causing bleeding. (The wounded area) was bandaged and bleeding was controlled, and she was transferred to hospital for care and oxygen therapy

Date of Mission: November 17, 2019; Ambulance Code: 3244

Name and surname: Tahereh Fathi, 29

Emergency location address: Riot, District 18, Khalij Fars, Sina Township, Gholaminejad Alley, No. 135, Unit 5, 3rd floor

Sent to Fayyaz Bakhsh Hospital, at 05.07 (am)

Symptoms: Weakness, exhaustion, bleeding

Notes and Considerations of the Mission: The 29-year-old female patient, who was shot in the head, arm, leg, and sides, was checked for vital signs. Examinations and consultations were performed, and she was taken to the hospital after initial treatment. The hospital was very crowded, and the delivery took a long time.

Date of Mission: November 17, 2019; Ambulance Code: 6002

Name and Surname: Faezeh Keshavarzi Karaji, 23

Emergency location address: Riots in Vahnabad Road leading to Robat Karim, make a U-turn and stay below the bridge

Sent to Firoozgar Hospital, at 21.26 (9.26 pm)

Symptoms: Weakness and exhaustion, bleeding

Reason for the incident: violence

Damages: rupture

Name and surname: Pari Hazeghi, 39

Sent to Firoozgar Hospital, at 19.36 (7.36 pm)

NCRI Women Committee

We work extensively with Iranian women outside the country and maintain a permanent contact with women inside Iran. The Women’s Committee is actively involved with many women’s rights organizations and NGO’s and the Iranian diaspora.
The committee is a major source of much of the information received from inside Iran with regards to women. Attending UN Human Rights Council meetings and other international or regional conferences on women’s issues and engaging in a relentless battle against the Iranian regime’s misogyny are part of the activities of members and associates of the committee.
