Message of solidarity to the IWD 2017 gathering, “Women in Political Leadership”
Dear Iranian sisters and brothers of resistance and my sisters in Iran,
I am always by your side especially for Women’s Day but this time it was not possible.
I’m here to send you my love and friendship to all the courageous men and women of Camp Liberty who have victoriously been relocated. I want to tell you that I have always supported you and will continue to support your cause until we go to a free Iran where we all see freedom and democracy with Mrs. Rajavi.
I’m here to tell you and your movement that I am with you because I believe in democratic rights and I know freedom is something that you will achieve for your people. I believe that we have to unite to topple injustice and dictators. You have paid a heavy price for almost over decades to reach this final victory. I will never stop defending the women of Iran, the courageous girls and women who have been in the forefront since the beginning of the tyranny. We send our respect to all the women fallen for freedom and together we work to see democracy in Iran.
On this International Women’s Day, I would like to send my greetings and greetings of the Indian people to the struggling men and women of Iran.
