Twelve people were sentenced by the Judiciary in Shiraz to a total of 379 months of imprisonment, prohibited from leaving the country, and deprived from getting employed. The convicts were involved in modelling and fashion businesses.
Their client, Mahmoud Taravat Rooy, said that eight of the convicts are women and four of them are men. A couple have been sentenced to five years in prison, each, and banned from getting employment. Another woman was sentenced to one year in prison, another couple to eight months imprisonment, three women were sentenced to four years in prison, each, and another woman received a six-month sentence. In addition, all of them were prohibited from having a job, or holding exhibitions.
