Gohar Eshghi, mother of the slain worker Sattar Beheshti, visited the recently-released labor activist Jafar Azimzadeh on Friday, July 1.
Following the visit, she said, “When I saw Jafar, I felt as if Sattar had been released from prison. Shame on this government who claims to support the poor.”
She praised Jafar’s steadfast resistance and his 63 days of hunger strike and said, “I can hardly describe the Friday’s meeting. It may be better to cry out our words by publishing only our photos.”
