The state-run Borna news agency reported last week of the unprecedented spread of lice in a female dormitory
of Tehran’s engineering-technical school, forcing officials to close down the facility.
Dormitory officials first provided students with special shampoo, which turned out to be useless and even worsened the situation forcing the school officials to completely close down the dormitory.
Conditions set for entering the facility was a medical check for each student. The factors behind these conditions are low hygiene and services in the university and not allocating adequate budget for the students’ minimum needs.
