Dozens of activists and freedom-loving people of Sanandaj gathered on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the graveside of Ameneh Mohammadi in Mohammadi Paradise cemetery.
Ameneh Mohammadi was a victim of honor killing. He had reported to government organizations about her situation but received no support. Women’s rights activists in Sanandaj and Marivan follow up on Ameneh’s case and they gathered on Thursday at Ameneh’s graveside.
Participants vowed to continue their efforts to stop violence against women and prevent any more women to become victims.
