In the guise of monitoring kindergartens for child abuse, the state-run welfare organization is installing closed-circuit cameras in 8200 kindergartens in cities across the country.
Habibollah Massoudi Farid told Mehr news agency that parents are not allowed to see the recorded tapes, unless they are “informed by their children” of any abuse. Only then, they can view the recorded tape in that hour!
Installation of closed-circuit cameras, which follows installation of closed-circuit cameras in all Iranian universities and all streets, bridges and cross sections to monitor anti-government activities, was started last year and will be finished by the end of this school year.
