The state-run Youth Reporters Club wrote: “Fateme Moghimi, head of the Iran Women Commerce Center said day by day we are faced with more limitations imposed on women’s presence in the economic field, including how they are hired, provided leave, paid and the amount of their wages, along with their contracts not being extended.”
Conditions for the presence of women remains inadequate and working conditions and women’s salaries in comparison to the men are much lower. On the issue regarding women’s retirement, the will of a woman after her death is only paid to her husband if it is proved that he can no longer work. However, this law is not the same for men.
