State-run Fars news agency reported a number of women were arrested at a party held in eastern Tehran. The news agency cited Pardis public prosecutor who wrote that 89 individuals were arrested during a raid on one of the largest night parties in eastern Tehran.
Heidar Fatehi said, “The organizers of this party had invited various people through social media such and boys and girls were going to there to party. 42 men and 47 women were arrested in this operation, conducted with the presence of judiciary officials, Pardis police commanders, security police, Pardis State Security Forces and Basij paramilitary units.”
