Anissa Boumediene – Former Algerian first lady
I want to tell my dear sister, Mrs. Rajavi, that we thank you for this encouragement on women’s day. With this I want to say, the day of women’s struggle we are under oppression in Islamic countries because fundamentalists don’t present the true Islam and they ruin the face of Islam all over the world.
Therefore Maryam Rajavi’s struggle is very valuable; it serves the cause of women and Muslim women’s liberation. This struggle is in the correct direction depicting real Muslims in the Qoran… Islam also promotes and respects human rights. The Karime Verse says, “la ekrah fi aldin” (Baghare Chapter) meaning there is no coercion in religion. It means humans are not coerced to accept Islam but free to choose and it is their freedom in choosing religion.
When I see different attacks on Ashraf and Liberty, these attacks are a big scandal for us, because the perpetrator is the UN representative, Mr Kobler, who is responsible for defending the oppressed and refugees. He does not act impartially but stands by oppression. Mrs. President, first of all we are proud of your courage.
I am well aware of advancing politics because I have worked in the government and know well when someone uses politics in office. Therefore I wish you would rule a great government and this will facilitate women’s issues in other regions to achieve more freedom, respect and promotion of rights. Salute to you, long live Ms. Rajavi, long live Iran’s revolution and long live women’s struggle.
