Nurses are forced to work overtime, but their overtime fees have not been paid for between six to ten months.
Mohammad Sharifi Moghaddam, deputy director of Iran’s Nursing Regime Organization, pointed out that there is a difference in the payment of doctors and nurses’ wages, and that receiving their past due wages is among the main demands of nurses.
Moghaddam pointed to the nurses’ vast protests in 2014 and said they are expressing their protests in a different way, now.
