Three Iranian Kurds, including two Kurdish female fighters, have been killed in drone and rocket strikes in Iraq’s northern Kurdistan region on Friday, April 17, according to the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan , which blamed the Iranian regime for the attack.
The group said three of its members were killed in a drone attack carried out by the Iranian regime, including two Kurdish female fighters.
The Kurdish female fighters were identified as Neda Miri and Samira Allahyari.
In the same attack, a father and son were also targeted, resulting in the death of Shahin Azar Barzin, while his father, Nader, was seriously injured.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi condemned these inhumane attacks and called for action by the United Nations and the Security Council.
She also extended her condolences to the bereaved families and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran.
In recent days, the Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Iranian regime has used suicide drones to target the camps of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran.
Earlier, on April 15, Ghazal Molan, a 19-year-old Peshmerga fighter of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, died from severe injuries caused by another drone attack by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
She had been injured on April 14 at a Komala camp in the Surdash area of Sulaymaniyah Province, Iraq, and died one day later due to the severity of her injuries. In the same attack, at least two other Peshmerga fighters were also wounded.
The United Nations Security Council is being urged to address the drone and missile attacks by this regime against Iranian Kurdish groups in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
