On Friday, September 19, 2025, Jamileh Azizi, an inmate held in Qarchak Prison in Varamin, died as a result of medical negligence and denial of proper healthcare.
Jamileh Azizi, who showed symptoms of a heart attack, was transferred to the prison infirmary. However, after a brief examination, doctors failed to provide adequate treatment and sent her back to the ward. Hours later, she passed away in “Consultant Two” Ward.
