Dr. Maria Ryan addresses international women’s conference at Ashraf 3

Dr. Maria Ryan, a women’s rights activist from the United States and CEO of Cottage Hospital in New Hampshire, attended the 5-day events of the Iranian Resistance’s annual gatherings in Ashaf 3, Albania.

In this video, she has addressed an international women’s conference on July 14, 2019, entitled, “Women in the Iranian Resistance, Defying the misogynist regime, Paying the price for freedom.”

Dr. Maria Ryan said, “It’s impressive that you can overcome that adversity and look to the future at what needs to happen, because otherwise it won’t happen.”

ABOUT US

NCRI Women Committee

We work extensively with Iranian women outside the country and maintain a permanent contact with women inside Iran. The Women’s Committee is actively involved with many women’s rights organizations and NGO’s and the Iranian diaspora.
The committee is a major source of much of the information received from inside Iran with regards to women. Attending UN Human Rights Council meetings and other international or regional conferences on women’s issues and engaging in a relentless battle against the Iranian regime’s misogyny are part of the activities of members and associates of the committee.
