Three political prisoners condemned the arrest and detention of Ms. Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee and her husband, Arash Sadeghi.
In a letter from Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, Ali Mo’ezzi, Saeed Shirzad and Behnam Mousivand wrote:
“After killing (Arash Sadeghi’s) mother, now has come the turn for another member of this family, Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee… The religious tyrants do not hesitate from any form of clampdown and abuse of people’s rights, taking freedom lovers to prison, to prolong their rule of repression and terror.”They declared support for their “two combatant friends in chains” and vowed to continue their struggle until “the oppressed people of Iran are free.”
Arash Sadeghi’s mother was hit on the head in the course of security agent’s raid in 2010 on her residence to arrest her son. She suffered brain hemorrhage and died in hospital after a few days due to internal bleeding and heart failure.
