The National Council of Women, presided by Merfat Telawi, congratulated female parliamentarians for finding way to the new Egyptian parliament in the second stage.
She said: The number women deputies in the parliament during the first and second stages of the election has reached 73. Add to that the number of women appointed by President Sisi, the total number will amount to 80 women, which is unprecedented in the parliamentary history of Egypt.
