The meeting of the joint culture and judicial committee of the parliament discussed two articles of a plan on women’s veiling.
According to the remarks made by the committee’s spokesman, mullah Nasrollah Pejmanfar, to Tasnim news agency, article 1 of the plan proposes a fine of 100,000 toumans for those drivers who do not observe the veil while driving in their cars.
Article 2 focuses on government employees who do this and indicates that they will be reprimanded and there would be deductions as much as one-third of their monthly salaries.
