On Monday, August 4, 2025, during the second annual general assembly of the Isfahan Provincial Construction Engineering Organization, engineer Sahar Teymoori, a registered member of the organization, was physically assaulted while delivering a speech in which she publicly criticized corruption and financial misconduct within the institution.
A video circulating on social media and news outlets shows Sahar Teymoori being attacked mid-speech. Attempts by others in the room to de-escalate the situation appear to have intensified the conflict rather than resolve it.

In a later statement, Teymoori reported that she was pushed and physically attacked by a male participant after being prevented from continuing her address.
This incident —a stark example of gender-based violence in a professional setting — has sparked outrage across Iranian media platforms and social networks.
