Minoo Rouzedar, a civil activist and mother of three, remains in a state of legal limbo in the women’s ward of Evin Prison.
Despite being detained for 25 days, she was recently charged in Evin’s Prosecutor’s Office with accusations including “propaganda against the state” and “insulting Khamenei.”
Minoo Rouzedar was arrested on January 20, 2025, by security forces in Tehran and was initially held in the detention center of the IRGC Intelligence, known as Ward 1-A.
After a week, she was transferred to the women’s ward of Evin Prison, where she continues to be held without a clear legal resolution.
Her ongoing detention and the lack of transparency surrounding her case have heightened concerns about the increasing crackdown on civil activists and women protesters in Iran.
