Manijeh Fatehi’s trial will be held on January 17, 2017, at the Revolutionary Court of Mahabad, Iranian Kurdistan.
Miss Fatehi, 23 from Boukan, is a student who was arrested last March and incarcerated in the detention centers of the intelligence departments of Boukan, Mahabad, and Orumiyeh. She is charged with having relations with Kurdish opposition parties.
A source close to Fatehi family said, “Manijeh’s family do not know about the fate of their daughter. She is only 23 years old and has endured much hardship in months of detention. They do not know how the judge will rule and are very concerned.”
