A former speaker of Majlis and a confidant of the mullahs’ supreme leader Ali Khamene’i complained about women not observing the compulsory dress-code.
Haddad-e Adel said, “It seems like the condition of hijab is worsening day by day. If we do not come out with any new solution, we would witness worse facts of non-veiling.”
“A very important principle is to promote the culture (of veiling), but it should not mean to refrain from dealing with violators of the law,” he reitrated.
