Khamenei’s representative in the northeastern province of Khorassan Razavi expressed his outrage over women’s freedom to enter sports stadiums through a harsh position.
He criticized the fact that during the Holy month of Ramadan, some athletic events had been held in the presence of a small number of handpicked women.
Alam-ol Hoda said, “The hell is not only the place of those who commit sin, but it is also a place for those who pervert Islam.”
“In the cultural arena, our society is sinful because of women dropping their veils,” he added. (State-run Digarban website – July 6, 2016)
